William Baines (1899-1922)

In 1991 George Kennaway conducted William Baines's Symphony in C minor (1917) at the Grassington Festival (North Yorkshire), with the Airedale Symphony Orchestra. Baines's MSS are held in the British Library, and a microfilm of his full score is held by the Yorkshire County Music Collection in Wakefield.
